Is this the illustration entitled "The Mission Ship off Flint Island" ?
(Page 231 of my UK 1st Ed., in the chapter called "Hot on the Trail")
If it is, there is a small boat (rowing boat?) in tow and three other
boats (with masts) astern. The picture is bordered on all sides and is
set landscape into the book.
