In the light of Missee Lee being banned by some booksellers due to poticially incorrect dialogue, should the same apply to Titty's chanting of "roun' de room and roun' de room and roun' de room" in SD? This was her rendering of the Obeah Woman's spell. What is an Obeah Woman anyway?
And following the earlier discussions about religion (or lack of) in the S&A books, it's interesting that AR gave voodoo far more coverage than Christianity!
Personally I don't like the Candle Grease Aunt episode much - it seems a strange offshoot to the story, causing Titty lots of anguish and generally spreading an unwanted air of gloom while news of the state of health of the GA is awaited.
