Actually... Maybe not a hydro-biplane, but according to a Quicktime clip of Roger Altounyan which I once found on the Wellcome web site; in it he explains how he was involved in the development of the Spinhaler inhaler mechanism for asthma treatment. And he mentions that he spent five years of the war as an RAF instructor pilot. So flying with him would probably been a very safe bet indeed.
I've still got the two online clips of Roger talking about his research work, although I can no longer find them actually on line. At 3MB each, they seem a bit big to put on the Tarboard upload facility- is that still working after the changeover?
