my copy of WH is the most battered and the most faded of all. On the shelf, all the other spines are green, but WH is brown.

I only have four of the books in Cape hardback, dating from the late 50s, but the green spine of PM came detached ages ago and is probably lost, and that of SA is only attached on one side.
