This is a bit chicken and egg. Now you have asked, I realise that I started to love Norfolk through reading CC and BS, then found it lived up to my expectations when I went there in my early teens and sailed for the first time, at Horning. It became the base for family holidays with my children, then my mother retired to the coast and I bought a second home there near Barton Broad. The Broads...the beaches...Norwich...the stately homes...I could go on.
But I could not move there permanently - too much of a Londoner!
