I don't think the scene in SW is 'childish behaviour', they are all in a hurry, Roger would like more porridge (he's greedy) but know it will delay things further, Bridget is trying to like the others and more grown-up - she is the youngest and wants to be accepted to go on the adventure.
(But then I'm assuming that 'childish behaviour' means they are being annoying, if you mean they are behaving like children then of course they are!)
