The quote was "Kindles", not "Kindle books". Why buy a single-purpose Kindle (or an Amazon-hobbled Kindle Fire) when you can download an app to let you use a general-purpose Android or iPad tablet, or you mobile phone, as a reader for both Kindle books and Adobe ePub books?
