I realize that I have been posting many messages recently and I apologize.
It's just that I haven't had the opportunity to discuss Ransome since I started
reading the series a year ago. I imagine in a short time I will have
exhausted my immense backlog of Ransome related inquiries and thoughts. I apologize
also for my attempts to use Ransomeish words. (I've wanted to say three million
cheers and jib-booms and bobstays etc. for so long but you have no idea the looks
I get at home when I try)
Anyway, I have two short questions that I would very much appreciate, if possible,
answers to. Firstly, I am approaching the end of the series and was wondering if CITN
came before GN, or if it was the other way round. If CITN is before GN should I read
the series in that order,giving closure with the end of GN, or should I read in the order
it was written, leaving Ransome as an open story with endless possibilities? Secondly, I have
read that GN is Peter Duck and I have read that it is real. I sincerely hope that it is
real, not because I don't like Peter Duck stories, but because that would mean that the
last book to have everyone (S,A's and D's that is) in it would be PP and
the last glimpse of real Swallow life would be SW. (please correct me if I am wrong)
