Thanks for an interesting first group of suggestions for the name of my dinghy;
Adam, I can't quite visualise a boat called Dustwrapper! I rather like the idea of First Edition, though.

Peter - Koob or Skoob - well, I'm known for collecting many versions of the books, but I wasn't thinking that cerebrally.

Andy - Shanty would fit, but in this case there isn't a musical connection.

Prue - the closest yet with Puffin or Penguin, although not because these two names are publishers. Try something more obvious!

Alan - what could be more authentic than naming with ginger wine? That is exactly what happened to Scarab!
"Not yet," said Nancy and pulled a small medicine bottle from her pocket. "Ginger wine. The Great Aunt had some with her supper last night and I swiped a drop afterwards."
As the Great Aunt herself will be performing the naming ceremony I think the ginger wine highly appropriate!

Any more ideas for names?
