As he will only be in his early 20s at the start of the war, no way is he going to get a cruiser even by war end.
Bill Wright's page seems to be dead, But his analysis and mine (which may be buried somewhere in the archives) put John at 12 when S&A opens
I put his birthday at July 1917, following the earliest dating possible (S & A timeline, not SD)
