Any other suggestions of where to look and who to ask would be welcome.
AR's official archives are deposited in 4 or 5 places. Please could someone more qualified than I am advise David where to look and who to contact regarding access. A lot of personal stuff was destroyed by Evgenia after Ransome's death so your search will not necessarily be easy. I guess another possible research route, although not necessarily an easy one, will be to contact the people holding the archives of Ransome's friends.
