A "raft of kiwi writers" Any suggestions? Nan Chauncy (sp?) wrote some good books set in Tasmania with vaguely AR themes. Are there any modern Kiwi or Oz equivalents?
For that matter are there anny contemporarychildren's writers who could be placed in the AR tradition or genre? After all we are often told this is a golden age of children's literature.
