If you can afford them go for the Cape Hardback editions. They are closest to the original UK first editions. The only changes that I am aware of are: (i) some mistakes have been removed, and (ii) AR's original dedication in Swallows and Amazons was replaced (at Evgenia Ransome's request).
Or you could save money and buy secondhand earlier editions via ABE Books or Bibliofind.
