I could look tugs up in the OED, but the entry is likley to be 7000 words as for the childer entry, I apologize for not editing the entry but I was in the middle of a meeting with a master's student and had 2 minutes to look at Tarboard for the first time in days. I got to entry 366 and then had to give up. I was answering the PeterH implied question on childer - which is a lousy excuse, but the only one I have, and a lack of time.
I was however punished as Ian has deleted the a lot of entries I did not get to read between then and now.
