Thank you to Mark and others for responding about canal boat stories. Curiously, it seems that whilst there are references there is no book or series focused on canal boats. Hmm.

Perhaps we should write one? With the next generation of S A's and D's? They matured in the 1940's, married in the early 1950's, and their children would be 10 to 15 years old in the mid-1960's. In turn, THEIR children would be 10 - 15 by 1990 at worst. How wonderful to follow the trail from AR's young people.

Can you help us to get an OK for that? If not, it'll be X, Y
and little Z. Or sumfink.

AR was a source of such happiness to us all. But, surely, it mustn't stop there? New generations to inspire. New ideas to fit the structure of today?

What do you think? Have a good day - Joe
