Bread Sauce is exactly that a sauce, semi liquid not a stuffing.
For stuffing we used to have sage and onion which included bread crumbs.
Usually served with brussel sprouts and roast potatoes.
Then plum pudding and custard, after which we all pulled crackers and put on paper hats and looked silly.
