As far as I am concerned TarBoard is like a Lake District Farmhouse.
The front door is there for ornament and used only on special occasions. Quite an effort to actually read what is posted there.
The back door is always open, accessible, easy to use and friendly (most of the time).
So I personally feel distressed - almost robbed - when the back door is effectively bolted and the front door has to be used.
