Ransome included one vicar, or old parson as the owner of a suspect bicycle in The Big Six. He was described as "well known to all of them".
However, I do believe that Ransome was not an particularly avid church goer and anyway, leaving the campsite to dress up for church is not a likely event. However, I suspect that the Amazons were taken to church by the GA, we just don'thear about it.
