Whilst there are 495 people who are registered to post, we do not know how many of these have died, lost interest, become too infirm to operate a PC etc. There is no (say) annual re-registration system. I am not suggesting that we need one as it impose a further load on Ian E-N for no real advantage.
We do not know how many registered posters are members of TARS. But we do know that about 10% of those registered do post regularly. This seems about the normal percentage and may be on the high side for the number of active members in any group.
Perhaps it indicates our passion for AR or the Beckfoot plumbing!
