A thousand years ago (February, 1956) two of us were "camped" overnight in my '40 Packard convertable sedan with the top down in the marina at Corpus Christi, TX. The next morning we walked around and looked at all the boats. There was a gorgous schooner that I thought looked just like the Wildcat in Peter Duck! I think we stood there and just drank it in for some time - all varnished wood and brass! I remember we were trying to imagine all the ports it had been in!

It is too bad most of the boats now are white plastic, but I presume much easier to maintain.
