It is quite an occasion. The Kentucky Derby horse race being held today in Churchill Downs of Louisville Kentucky is quite a drawing card. The ultimate is of course the arrival yesterday of Queen Elizabeth II at the airport of Lexington (25 miles away from where I live) being greeted with honors and the waving of British flags. (Wonder who had that consession stand to provide them.) Women had to quickly take curtsey lessons so they would not fall over in front of the Queen. It is quite the social To Do. We appreciate the land of the Mother Country lending us this spectacular glimpse of English Royalty, as we don't get much of that around here. You Brits are well represented here this day. You should have heard God Save The Queen being sung in a Kentucky accent. That was some whoop-te-do.

Ransome. There. Now I can say this accolade was on topic...
