I'm not so sure. John's essay subject was The history of the world related to the problem of human consciousness. Yet John's proposed essay structure, including as it does: Paragraph 3 - Identify a critical problem that is caused by consciousness and then how it has affected the world would be more suitable for an essay entitled The problems of the world related to human conciousness. World problems caused by conciousness or not the same thing as the problem of conciousness.
