This was a very promising project

Yes indeed, but what it does for me now is to remind me of the old buccaneering days of TarBoard. There were no TarBoard Ikons then. Semi-insults flew around, and no one was exempt. You lived by your wits, and it wasn't always comfortable. There was one TarBoarder who called me 'Vicar' because he thought I was too genteel! But there was a great deal of good Ransome stuff too. As the sparks flew, I learnt how other people approached AR in a different way from me, but equally valid and compelling. To sum up, then we had the spirit of Nancy, now we have the spirit of John.

Or is this just nostalgia? Where's AndyB these days? He would know.
