I assume the 'metal closures' on 'mountaineering kit'Peter C refers to are the gates on karabiners ('krabs' in Britain, sometimes ''biners' elsewhere. Never thought of them as metal mice before. Some are reassuringly chunky and can be locked, others look disconcertingly like paperclips.Sorry, no pictures.
But I agree with AndyG why use sisterhooks? They can only be quick if you don't mouse them. Under what circumstances would they be preferable to a hook and eye?
