Well.... my wife enjoys steam engine rallys, old pubs and cricket. Indeed she actually explained the rules of cricket to me (if I didn't take so much pleasure from this fact I guess it ought to be rather embarrassing). And my daughter saw a documentary about base jumping last night and told us it looked fun, "Can I have a go at that Mummy?". "Not while I'm still alive." being my wife's response. Bringing the subject back to AR I'd argue that perhaps the most 'alpha male' characters in the books are the Amazon Pirates... So all-in-all I'm not sure I buy the alpha-male thing much and can't honestly remember seeing too much of it on this board. Unless plumbing is an alpha male pursuit I suppose..? ;-)
