In WINTER HOLIDAY:

They are taken across the lake to have a feast at Beckfoot, but due to the
sudden illness of Nancy, Mrs. Blackett has to call it off, and wants to
avoid letting the other children catch the illness.

WH CH8
------------
"Will you come straight up, doctor?" said Mrs. Blackett.
"I'm so glad they were able to catch you. And you children can
wait in the study a few minutes. No, Peggy, not in the
dining-room. Nancy was in there a long time holding her head to the
fire..."
------------
This indicates that the dining room had a fireplace.

also in WH CH8
------------
Then the seven went into a room in which a fire had only just
been lighted. Dick at once noticed a microscope under a glass
cover. Titty and Dorothea went straight to the bookshelves, but
the books seemed to be mostly about geography, chemistry, mining
and such things.

"Uncle Jim uses this room when he's at home," Peggy explained.
"These are all the things he hasn't got room for in the
houseboat."

------------
This suggests that a fireplace is in Captain Flint's Study.

Yet there is no specific mention of a "fireplace."

We can assume that some other rooms likewise will have a fireplace, if
not all of them. Perhaps not the "box room" as it is essentially for storage.
