People should not feel intimidated or be inhibited by anyone else's postings on Tarboard. After all its not like someone can reach out of the monitor and punch your nose. The worst that can really happen is they can be rude to you, which is of course deplorable but is not really going to affect your daily life except perhaps to make you a bit upset. To get over that I always bear in mind that the opinion of someone silly enough to disparage any of my posts is of course worthless :-)

Personally if I don't like or agree with a post I may respond and express my dislike (hopefully of the post not the poster) or I may choose to ignore it. It depends on my mood. Multiply that by every reader of Tarboard and you could have a myriad of possible responses.

A post that is uninteresting to the majority will not usually generate a thread, one that is, may start sub-dividing and produce any number of more or less related strands.

So post away everyone and let the best thread win.
