Whether it is 'historically correct' depends upon what they are presenting the dinghy as. Is it being presented as either Swallow or Amazon, or is it just there to provide some 'atmosphere'? Is it part of a display relating to AR and his stories? Isn't there a second Tate Gallery somewhere on the South Coast of the UK? If there is, which gallery is the display at?
