We are mostly "camping in the front lawn" this summer--at home tending a garden, driving a child to and from summer camp, hosting fencers for their training camps, and enjoying sunny hot weather.
We are planning to escape for a five-day trip to the Olympic Peninsula, in Washington state, in mid-July. Google the name to find some photos of the incredibly beautiful and wild mountains there. My husband and I look forward to rest & leisurely short day hikes; the children to getting away from us with their backpacks!
