Today's Los Angeles Times has an article about Zac Sunderland, who's trying to become the youngest person to circumnavigate the globe by himself. It made me think- never in the AR series do our heroes show much desire to sail alone- there's always someone else in the boat or at least in the next boat over. I think the only person who boats alone is Tom Dudgeon when he saves the coot's nest by unmooring the Hullaballoos. I'm not a sailor, but trying to go around the world or even around Windermere by myself doesn't sound all that exciting. Any thoughts?
