If I have this right, the last of Tony's LakelandCam photos today ('Waterhead from the top of the zig-zags') shows the approximate location of the North Pole. I have a photo of a concrete plaque that was placed at the actual site itself some time ago. Can anyone describe exactly where in the photo the plaque would be located please?

It seems that it should be pretty-well exactly in the centre, left-to-right, and a little below it vertically, at the end of the green paddock leading on to what, if the lake were not fresh water, might be a tongue of saltings.

(The photo will presumably be shown in Tony's end-of-page link "This week on the Cam" from tomorrow onwards.)
