Peter H is quite correct that there is a Beckfoot Station on the 15 inch gauge, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway.
It can only be used by passengers asking the guard before hand to stop. This is because the gradients are severe and in wet weather the engine driver has a difficult restart. (Tip although you must ask the guard, it is as well to tell the driver that you have asked the guard - in case the guard forgets to tell the driver!)
