I'm told the sunglasses are being worn by 'Susan', though it must have a been a break in filming, as she doesn't wear them in the film.
Who has had a chance to see the 1960s B&W film of S&A? I understand greater travesties were committed in that one, than we will see on stage or screen in this century! Titty becomes Kitty, they wear lifejackets, have terrible accents....anything else?
AR hated television, I understand. I don't know if he watched the 1960s film when they had done it, but his letters indicate he regretted the process, probably from the moment the film crew started debating whether to use dynamite to blow up some rocks on one of the islands to improve the harbour.
