My dumbing down comment was dirested at the "Revue" programme - not the whole of the BBC output, Peter.
If you think the people on that programme compared with the likes of Huw Weldon or Bernard Levin, I am puzzled that you think that the BBC is not in decline for some sections of its programming.
I expect we may never agree on this topic, however the BBC should be grateful that people are concerned enough to worry.
