We did things differently in those days. We were quite scientific about it.
We looked through lots of vintage car photos and examined such things as the availability
of that particular marque with artillery wheels, the distinctive rear end, the unique shape
of the doors, the toolbox, the radiator, the sloping bonnet.
The car on the Pendon website is not really "Rattletrap" I think it's a Bullnose Morris.
The Bullnose has the wrong rear end.
I think yours was one of the voices that said that on the basis of all that evidence
"Rattletrap" was a ............... .
No, I just can't say it. It's contentious. I'm a reformed character these days. (Remember
the old times when there was real passion on TarBoard?) Surely someone out there in the
great TarWorld remembers?
Duncan, were you around when we had that discussion? Does nobody remember? Did I
