I'm sure that's part of it. According to Joshi, even the British Library only has a microfilm copy. Even so, I find it interesting that it was unearthed and reprinted by Lovecraft devotees on the strength of a passing remark in H.P.'s essay. Why has it has been neglected by Ransome's own literary executors when they have sanctioned the publication of Ransome's letters, Coots in the North, Racundra's Third Cruise etc? Could Mr Hakim advise why Amazon Publications hasn't reprinted the whole thing? Just the ending is hardly satisfactory, is it? Perhaps some lingering legal issues? I believe it's public domain in the US as it was published before 1923 but still in copyright under UK/European law.
