A quick bit of research

John - Policeman 1896, prostitute's client 1928, lavatory 1932, penis 1934 (though I guess this could be earlier as it was used by D H Lawrence)

Roger - To have intercourse 1711

Nancy - Homosexual 1904

Titty - Breast 1828 (for tit actually, Titty goes back to 1746)

Peggy - Naval sailor assigned menial tasks 1902

All from the Oxford Dictionary of Modern Slang (a book!)

But I suspect from what we know of AR this was not his intention, but then he did work for newspapers.
