I had always assumed the red stars on the endpaper map were lighthouses. Not that I have ever checked.
It also appears that they visited Oigh-sgeir, a rock and lighthouse some seven miles south-west of Canna.
The Red Fox reproduction must be very blurred. In the Cape original, it's Barra.
