Nina, for what it's worth, and speaking as a member of only about a year's standing, my view is this -- while a lot of the acrimony is indeed warranted from what I can tell (via postings and through private emails with a variety of people,) it is diasappearing slowly from TarBoard. The fact that it hasn't yet gone altogether is, I think, both an indication of the degree of harm that was done by one or two megalomaniacs who clearly have a good deal of growing-up to do, and a measure of the impartial and fair attitude of our excellent webmaster, Ian Edmondson-Noble, whose site it is.

My subscription is about to be renewed.
