Having started a thread on favourite books I've notice a lot of responses from the USA. I find this interesting as to me ARs books are so English at all levels. There appeal as a child was partly because it was all so familiar - even though he was desribing the 1930/40s and I was reading them in the early, post war, 1960s.
Would any of the fans over there like to comment?
