After the Heron sailing (see above) which was a borrowed boat, my family
decided to get there own (I should say Dad decided to build one) a Hartley
TS 21,bilge keeler was selected, not a S & A boat unless you were thinking of a Teasel
I didn't particularly like this, too big for a couple of kids basically
and I didn't particularly want adults around but we all know how parents
can be.
But I did like the look of a Hartley TS 14, a cross between a Titmouse
and a Death & Glory as it had a half cabin forward with two berths, just
right for two adolescants. I've always thought that this would have been
a great adventure machine.
I've just done a bit of web browsing and found this link, which I think
we all might find interesting.
