I have spent years wondering about a marvellous book called Peterina on the Rescue Trail (everything I know about Canada I learnt from that book)I somehow read and had to return too quickly. Then, hurray for abe or bibliofind, there is Peterina, several copies! I didn't actually buy one, as I remembered an old schoolfriend describing a similar lost/removed book, and finding it in a secondhand bookshop and being absolutely appalled by the awful sexist, elitist tone that she & her brother had completely missed as children. I didn't want that to happen. And of course, that's the great pleasure of AR. Just as good now in every way.
