I started reading AR's books as a child & have never stopped.
I have become increasingly interested in his real life, esp. his time in Russia and his public opposition to "intervention" in the russian civil war. He spoke out for what he believed to be right, at risk of being charged with treason or under the defence of the realm act.
As a norfolk coot living in California I have viewed from afar recent actions by the UK Govt, and hysteria in some sections of the british press, with some dismay.
I wonder what AR would have said about the recent actions by the UK Govt?
