While we are at it, lets make a fibreglass replica of Swallow. Gosh, that would be even better than the original! AR had reasons for dying before he finished "Coots" [not its real name]. Let the man and his works rest in peace. He has done enough for us. We can of course write "Why Dorothea blushed" and "Might have been" stories and we can speculate within the walls of TARS and ARC but as for "Completing" AR's work, it would lose its magic. I dont think theres anything wrong with CITN as it stands now.
I will suggest that since movie makers think themselves better than original authors and therefore qualified to mess about with plots [like Mrsd barrible's silly horseride from Wroxham to Horning in BBCs Coot Club] then maybe some movie of CITN could try to complete the story with Ransome's notes. And do a movie of The River Comes First too. Richard carpenter wouldnt do such a bad job.
