Don't worry, Ed, the UK Government doesn't get it, either - they are going to ban hunting with dogs, which mainly means fox hunting. It's a very controversial topic in the UK at present, and you may get some fairly robust replies to your query. Well, you must be used to stumbling into British wasps' nests by now!
(By the way, over here it's 'hounds' not 'dogs', and yes they do try to kill the fox. Foxes have about a 50/50 chance of escaping. That's all I want to risk saying. Good luck and keep your head down, Ed!)
