Interesting choice on Cameron's part. I have often felt this is an intriguing question because I'm not sure I'd necessarily bring my favorite books (or recordings), but rather a combination of ones that complemented each other and offered enough variety to be interesting after many reads (or listenings). Cameron's choice seems to fit into this category.

This does lead to an more AR-related question - if we had 8 books to bring to a desert island, how many of us would choose one or more of the SA series, and which one(s)?

I meant to make note of Fiona's use of the expression "lord love a duck". I understand that my father-in-law (who died before I met my wife) used to say that, but I have not heard it before or since, except in reference to him. Any thoughts on its origin?
