This was NZ in the early sixties. I've no idea what the brand was but it came out of a tin and was revolting - sticky and sweet and completely unlike fresh cold regular bottled milk. We tried dried milk too and it was just as horrible. Years later I was mixing up dried milk feed for baby calves and the smell brought it all back - ugh!
Milk straight from the cow is great(what milker hasn't diluted their 5am wakeup coffee straight from the teat) but health depts have stringent laws and you will get shot at dawn if you drink unpasteurised milk - even if its from your own healthy cows.
