I think you could argue that AR started to recycle his characters after WH. P&S are a sort of median between Nancy and Peggy, Tom is another John, as perhaps is Don in SW , while Daisy is a second Nancy and Dum and Dee ciphers. The D&Gs , are fresh, however, perhaps why tey are so popular
