At the end of WD (Ch 26) the first customs officer says “Piracy”, the second one says “if the owner likes to prosecute ....” and Titty says “It really was piracy .... We’ll all be hanged at Execution Dock .... in chains .... jangling in the wind .... Nancy’d be delighted“
