Swallow, Amazon and Scarab flag sizes/halyard attachments

Hello,

Can anyone please tell me what the sizes were for Swallow, Amazon and Scarab's flags? Also how they were attached to the halyards - were they attached to a piece of stiff wire and if so, how?
